Superdry Clothing – Shaking Up a Stale Street wear Style Casual fashion Industry
Superdry Britain has long been a model leader. But the streetwear casual fashion industry seems to have become more and more obsolete, plagued by the same old style of taking a standard garment from the swamp and polishing it with the brand. However, there is some hope. Superdry Clothing broke the door in 2004 when they opened their first stores in London. Now this multi-million pound mark is on the London Stock Exchange with a very healthy stock price. So what is it that makes this clothing brand stand out?
clothing has a basic streetwear casual fashion
I think it’s because Superdry clothing has a basic streetwear casual fashion approach, a far more native understanding of the attitudes of the people who wear it. It is difficult to define streetwear casual fashion; It is primarily because it is the people who define it that there are so many nuances. In short, streetwear casual fashion is a very broad category used to describe clothing that provides an alternative to more common pop culture brands; it is a distinctive fashion style. Individuality is a key component.
Instead of adapting to modern streetwear casual fashion, young entrepreneurs put their own ideas into custom t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats for themselves and their friends. To a large extent, this activity still continues, but it is hidden deeper underground. With roots in skateboarding and ‘skatewear’ from the 1980s, streetwear was embrace as streetwear casual fashion and has since evolve into the massive international industry it is now.
It is interesting since the industry start because people were tire of the same old boring look that it has become as stagnant as the fads it once rebell against. Could it be due to the influence of mega-brands that focus more on profit than individuality? That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking for some time. The industry is now so large that it has attracted the attention of large companies. The creativity is still there, I’m sure, it’s just that those who still define it are hard to see beyond the huge size of the big streetwear casual fashion brands.
Superdry Streetwear casual fashion clothing
I cannot describe the relief that Superdry Streetwear casual fashion clothing brings you. Finally a brand with a clear and distinctive look. One who can stand up for the big names in the clothing industry? One that I will support. My only concern is that now that they have become a public company, will they end up going the same way as the other big brands? I certainly hope not. What do I like about clothes? It is that Superdry clothing offers a good match within the ever-growing clothing area; a happy balance where the brand is not in your face, the clothes speak for themselves and it is the clothes that define the brand, not the logo.
This is exactly what I want from a clothing brand. I have grown out of the (cheap) regular cotton t-shirt with a solid printed logo. I want something elegant but casual, functional but streetwear casual fashionable. And I do not want to look like a walking billboard. So it’s time for someone like Julian Dunkerton, co-founder of clothing company Superdry, to step up to the plate and bring streetwear casual fashion back to your senses. We can only hope that more labels find their way back to their roots.
